I’ve always said my life should be made into my very own blog post…..but I never actually thought I would follow through with it. Well, here I am. For my first blog post I am going to keep it simple and introduce myself. My name is Brooke Rich, I’m a health, also ice cream, fitness loving Kentucky girl (yes, Kentucky. No, I am not a hillbilly).
I am a Dietetics major, minoring in exercise movement. D.i.e.t.e.t.i.c.s….big word, right? For those of you who don’t know what this means, I aspire to be a Dietitian (RD), an expert in human nutrition, to help others transform their diet based on their medical or individual needs. Nutrition was my first love, then came my passion for exercise. Pictured is my 8-week transformation through Katy Hearn’s Spring Challenge. For years I’ve loved the science of taking care of your body through nutrition and fitness. Watching how drastically it has changed my body both physically and mentally throughout this journey has opened my mind into wanting to help others discover how important it is to love your body and properly take care of it. I am so excited to share with you my journey through this crazy lifestyle and I hope to help change YOUR views of exercise and nutrition as well as help you better understand why it is so important to correctly nourish the only body you get. By no means am I an “expert” of these topics, but through my findings, knowledge, and experience I will share my journey and hopefully be apart of yours!
